This project explores the notion of “Safe Spaces” for WHEDco students - in particular, what this concept means for the students, how they experience a "safe space", and why they consider WHEDco a "safe space" both generally and especially during the pandemic. Our mission is to create and bridge access in the South Bronx to resources that help create thriving neighborhoods: from high-quality early education and youth academic and arts enrichment programs to economic opportunity, healthy food, and the arts.
